In 2003, with legendary New York City ska act Mephiskapheles on hiatus, a few of the band members got together to form a side project: Skull-A-Ball. Andre A. Worrell on lead vocals, Bill McKinney and Greg Robinson on guitars, and Mike Bitz on bass, with Giulliano Sebben on drums recorded a three-song EP in 2003, at McKinney's house in North Philadelphia, with "Big Dan" Jeselsohn at the controls.
